Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz represenative addresses Ibrox exit speculation
Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz will be staying at Ibrox despite the Turkish window still being open, according to Burhan Can Terzi.
The Sportcell Medya journalist claimed on 1 February that he spoke to the representative of the Turkey left-back and he was told he'll be staying at Ibrox.
Yilmaz was linked with a move away from Rangers throughout the January transfer window, particularly amid interest from Galatasaray and Fabrizio Romano even said something could happen in the coming days.
Speaking on YouTube, Terzi said: "I talked to Rıdvan Yılmaz's representative. 'There is no new development. It doesn't look like there will be a new development,' he said."

With Borna Barisic's contract set to expire in June, securing Yilmaz's stay ensures continuity and stability in the left-back position, mitigating the risk of losing a key player without a ready replacement.
Additionally, the potential arrival of Jefte, the Fluminense left-back, fell through in January, further emphasising the importance of retaining Yilmaz as the primary option in that position.
The Turkey international's emergence as a first-choice left-back over Barisic demonstrates his growing importance to the team and his ability to deliver consistent performances at a high level.
Moreover, Yilmaz's decision to stay signals his commitment to Gers and his belief in the club's project under Philippe Clement.
