Rangers 2026-27 home kit 'leaked', fans will hope this is a joke

Published on

Rangers' home kit may have just been leaked online - and it will not go down well with supporters.

The Gers' 2025-26 season has not long finished, with fans eager to quickly move on from what was a dreadful campaign.

Plenty has happened in the month since then, not least manager Danny Rohl jumping ship to RB Salzburg and Derek McInnes taking over.

Those two appointments are set to be announced imminently, ushering in yet another new era at Ibrox.

As ever, supporters will soon grow excited again when the fixtures are released on Thursday at midday.

And that may coincide with the release of Rangers' new home kit, with 'leaked' images now surfacing online.

Rangers home shirt lacks any sort of inspiration

Rangers fans have strong opinions about anything, not least the kit their players wear week in and week out.

And if what new images of what appears to be the new home kit is anything to go by, the vast majority surely will not be pleased.

The image was posted via Reddit on Tuesday afternoon and shows the Unibet sponsor slap bang in the middle.

That is nothing new in terms of prominent sponsorship, but it just looks out of place with vertical lines running through it.

Dare we say it looks pretty cheap in terms of the design cost, with absolutely no thought going into it.

The main difference from the previous season is that one had a white writing on a blue background.

This one appears to have blue underneath and it just looks completely out of place.

Of course, this could be a hoax - and fans will certainly hope that is the case - with an announcement not yet made by Rangers.

Rangers fans to get in the spirit this week

Rangers fans could be forgiven for wanting to switch off from all football this summer.

That is how bad last season was under Russell Martin and then Rohl, who started brilliantly but then bottled the run-in.

But the release of the fixtures this week allows fans to start plotting out possible eventualities.

The players then return to pre-season duty in the next fortnight and, before we know it, we are at it all over again.

Just hopefully not in this leaked kit.
