Nedim Bajrami can be the hero Philippe Clement has been looking for to bring success back to Rangers this season.

The Gers signed the Albania international from Sassuolo in the summer, and since then, he has slowly been integrated into the team.

In the 4-1 defeat to Olympique Lyon, the 25-year-old was one of the few Rangers' players who could leave the pitch with their head held high.

Subsequently, Bajrami was awarded his first start in the Scottish Premiership against St Johnstone on 6 October, in a 2-0 win.

The Albanian has replicated his form during the international break and helped his national side get wins over Ukraine and Georgia.

Philippe Clement can count on Nedim Bajrami at Rangers

Albania beat Georgia 1-0 in the Nations League on 14 October and Bajrami played 77 minutes.

During the game, the attacker was a constant thorn in the opposition's side and controlled the game with his 84% passing accuracy, as per FotMob.

The 25-year-old managed two shots on goal, with one on target, and even had the opportunity to get on the scoresheet but missed one big chance.

Not only was Bajrami good going forward, but he also contributed in defence, with one clearance and interception each and six ball recoveries.

With one goal and assist registered in six games so far for the Blues, Clement will be delighted to see Bajrami settling in.

The manager can also breathe a sigh of relief as the 25-year-old showed that he can play on the left during the international break, which is encouraging, considering Rabbi Matondo is on the sidelines.
