Alan Brazil fired a warning live on air after Paul Lambert claimed that Rangers and Celtic need each other in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers and the Hoops share one of the biggest rivalries in the footballing world, with fans coming all over to watch the Old Firm derby and the two sides are set to battle on Sunday 15 December.
Brendan Rodgers' side are certainly the favourites for the Scottish League Cup final and have dominated recent meetings, and despite the open gap in the league table, the clubs have been told that they need one another.
Speaking live via talkSPORT [11 December, 7:43am], Lambert said: "I think Celtic need a strong Rangers and vice versa for the league's sake."
Brazil replied: "I get pelters for saying that," with Lambert simply saying: "I don't care."

As much as both fanbases hate each other, the Scottish Premiership would be far worse off without their rivalry and would bring less income to the division.
Fans will likely never admit how much they enjoy the derby, whether it kicks off at Ibrox or Celtic Park, but the rest of the world loves tuning in to watch the two Scottish giants go head-to-head.
Of course, the Hoops have dominated in recent seasons, with the Gers only winning one of the last 13 meetings, and Philippe Clement looks unlikely to buck that trend on Sunday.
The Belgian is under mounting pressure to turn things around at Ibrox, and with upcoming clashes against Tottenham and Celtic, he certainly has the opportunity to do so.
While the Europa League tie would be expected to hold the most value and expectation, all eyes are already focused on the Old Firm derby and that just shows how much the two sides do need each other.
