Rangers finally won in the Scottish Premiership as they won 2-1 away at Livingston, with Russell Martin still under huge pressure.

The Gers started the season woefully, failing to win any of their first five league games, and Rangers fans want Martin to be replaced as a result.

They failed to pick up three points again at Livingston, with James Tavernier opening the scoring in the first half, but the captain also had a penalty saved which could have seen them double the lead.

Livingston found an equaliser in the second half through Mohamad Sylla, as the midfielder headed in after some woeful positioning in the Rangers back line, but substitute Max Aarons netted a late winner after a set-piece.

Bojan Miovski misses huge chance against Livingston

Bojan Miovski came in for Youssef Chermiti upfront, and had a mixed display as he led the line well, but did nto take his chances.

There was one big moment in the first half in which Nicolas Raskin put Miovski through on goal, but the centre-forward blazed his shot over the bar.

It was a frustrating moment for Miovski, and his most glaring miss since he joined from Girona in the summer, and he could have scored in injury-time if not for a superb save.

Oliver Antman outstanding on return

Oliver Antman started on the right wing in place of the underwhelming Mikey Moore, and he justified this selection with a brilliant performance.

Antman created Tavernier's goal with a superb volleyed cross when the ball appeared destined to fly out of play, and the Finland International was bright throughout.

The 24-year-old's dribbling was electric, and he created several chances when cutting inside, and his speed added a lot more energy to the Rangers team which was lacking in recent weeks.
