Nicolas Raskin and Djeidi Gassama react to Dujon Sterling's Old Firm post - 'Best in the league'

Dujon Sterling was a standout performer as Rangers earned another Old Firm win over Celtic.

Derek McInnes' side were convincing 3-0 winners over their rivals at Ibrox in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals last week.

The Gers backed that up with an impressive display at Parkhead in the Scottish Premiership, Ryan Naderi scoring the winner in a 1-0 triumph.

It means Rangers have cut the gap on Celtic at the top of the table just two points ahead of an elongated international break.

With six wins on the spin in all competitions, McInnes' side will hope to continue that momentum when the season resumes.

For now, though, it's still celebration time and Sterling took time to post on his official Instagram prompting reactions from several team-mates.

Sterling continue what has been a quietly excellent campaign so far, excelling for Rangers at right-back.

The full-back's performance meant Kieran Tierney stuggled to get in the game, while Benjamin Nygren and Luke McCowan had little luck playing as 10s behind Camilo Duran.

Defensively, Sterling won all four of his tackles, all six of his ground duels, and three aerial duels.

Moreover, he finished with 10 recoveries, five clearances, and one last-man tackle won.

After the game, the 26-year-old posted a photo of himself walking out of the tunnel at Celtic Park.

His captain had merely a padlock and key emoji, and the chains emoji, indication how Rangers had kept Celtic shackled.

Midfielder Nicolas Raskin went as far as to call Sterling the "best in the league", while Ben Godfrey merely with a handshake emoji.

Tochi Chukwuani replied with "lockdown", while former Rangers winger Andy Halliday wrote: "Greatest 1v1 defender in history."

It was an excellent performance from Sterling, who will hope to continue his impressive season when the campaign restarts.
