Ryan Naderi netted the winner as Rangers secured victory against Celtic once again.

It's another Old Firm three points for the Gers after travelling to Parkhead on Sunday and leaving with a 1-0 win.

Derek McInnes was able to prove just how good his side have become as they add to their winning run.

There was always going to be a challenge following up last week's 3-0 Ibrox win, but they did exactly that.

The Light Blues had their German forward to thank in the end as his goal made all the difference.

That helped Naderi silence some doubters, with Andy Halliday having his main question answered at Celtic Park.

Naderi certainly impressed Halliday on BBC Sportscene, with the ex-Rangers man suggesting he is now doing what all good strikers should.

He said: "In terms of Ryan Naderi, I think scenarios like that have always been questioned, has he got that striker instinct to score that type of goal? I always think a striker should be scoring five tap ins a season and he's starting to show that in his game.

"You look at his catalogue of goals this season, they're pretty simple goals, but he's getting into the areas that he wasn't over the last year or so. Phenomenal."

His overall performance at Parkhead is what will have McInnes and Co. sitting up and taking notice.

Naderi was a constant thorn in Celtic's side as he got stuck into 34 duels, while clocking up six defensive actions.

He may have conceded four fouls, but that sums up his all-action performance.

Then you throw in the addition of three shots and once chance created.

That all smacks of a player becoming more and more comfortable in the Rangers shirt as he makes a role in the starting XI his own.

Halliday has been silenced and now the January signing needs to prove his worth every single week.
