Feyenoord manager Arne Slot believes that Rangers are not as good as Celtic, having beaten the former in the Champions League qualifiers.

The Dutch side raced to a comfortable victory against the Ibrox outfit but Slot believes that it will be far more difficult to play their cross-town rivals.

He also waxed lyrical over striker Kyogo Furuhashi who's expected to be available for the Champions League clash.

Rangers

Slot told 1908, "Celtic have simply been a much better club than Rangers in the last ten years, if you look at their performance. Then I think you have to estimate them in a different way than Rangers. Over the last ten years, Celtic has had the upper hand over Rangers.

"That's a shame for us. I wouldn't have minded if he didn't play. He's a very good player, one of Celtic's best. We know his qualities. We're not a team that will physically look for him now."

Sad but true

A number of poor decisions behind the scenes have led to Celtic ousting Rangers at the summit of Scottish football.

It is unfortunate for Gers fans but it's the reality and they desperately want things to change as soon as possible.

Things were looking positive over the summer when there was a boardroom overhaul and Michael Beale looked promising.

Rangers

The board delivered with a number of signings but Beale's football has been shambolic and it's not translated to wins on the field of play.

Rangers do not look any better than they were when he took over and Celtic are taking full advantage of this.

Things need to change quickly or Beale may soon find himself out of a job as it is an unforgiving business.
