Cyriel Dessers was left raging after the Rangers striker was forced off in the 4-0 win against FCSB in the Europa League at Ibrox.

The Bears welcomed the Romanian champions to Glasgow on 24 October, with Dessers left raging after an alleged eye poke midway through the second half.

A few minutes later, the Nigeria international was substituted for Hamza Igmane, and David Edgar of the Heart and Hand Podcast [24 October] spotted him storm down the tunnel, visibly raging.

He wrote: "Dessers was fuming and pointing to his eye. He walked straight down the tunnel, looked very upset."

Rangers already had to replace Tom Lawrence at half-time after the Welsh national was on the receiving end of a clumsy challenge just before the break.

Despite Dessers not having a great game against FCSB, he's still Philippe Clement's main threat up front and has been far from happy recently.

However, it doesn't look like the Nigerian's issue was anything serious, and he should hopefully be available as St Mirren visit Ibrox on 27 October.

Igamane had to build trust over time since his summer arrival but did get his first goal for the club in the thrashing against FCSB, which should give him confidence.

Zak Lovelace is another possible option at Ibrox, with the 18-year-old back with the first-team squad for the game against the Romanians.

Time will tell, but Dessers should be fine to go again.
