Celtic-mad comedian Vittorio Angelone cracks joke about Rangers and Grado despite Old Firm double
Derek McInnes' side have firmly reclaimed the bragging rights in Glasgow so far this season.
Having beaten Martin O'Neill's men 3-0 in the Scottish League Cup earlier this month, a trip to Parkhead threatened to level the scores.
But a superb Rangers performance saw Ryan Naderi's 33rd-minute strike hand the Bears back-to-back victories over the Hoops on Sunday.
As a result, Celtic fans would do well to refrain from attempts to poke fun at Rangers right now.
Angelone, however, didn't seem to get that message.
What Rangers joke did Vittorio Angelone make to Grado?
Rangers and Celtic fans will banter and take swipes at one another for as long as football still exists.
One of the more high profile Celtic supporters is Angelone, who is an Irish comedian, actor and writer.
He's currently on his UK and Ireland tour, and is utilising his strong social media presence to promote it.
As a result, the 30-year-old took to Instagram on Monday morning to post a joke he told, with the brunt of it being Rangers fan, actor and wrestler, Grado.
"Grado is here everyone. Grado is a Rangers fans and a wrestler, two pursuits that involve believing in something that doesn't exist," was the joke he told.
It's a brave one to post given Rangers' recent Old Firm exploits, but when will Angelone and Celtic have their next chance to be in a stronger bragging position?
When are the remaining Old Firm games this season?
It feels as though Old Firm's have been coming around thick and fast recently.
Indeed, Rangers and Celtic have already contested six of them in the calendar year of 2026 so far.
With the most recent two coming in rapid succession, perhaps everyone on both sides of the divide could do with a cooling off period.
Luckily that is what will happen, as the next Old Firm game isn't scheduled to take place until 3 January 2027 at Ibrox.
Gers then travel to Parkhead on 27 February for the final pre-split fixture of the campaign.
Now just two points behind Celtic and with six wins on the spin in all competitions, Rangers look a totally different animal to the one that began the season.
Angelone may joke that Gers supporters have nothing to believe in, but the form and what McInnes' team are doing on the pitch says otherwise.
