The Bears' dreadful run at Ibrox has continued, as they have not enjoyed a victory on home soil since their 4-0 win over Ross County on 2 February.

The Gers handed themselves a major mountain to climb when Hibs beat Jack Butland at Ibrox for the second time.

Rangers are next in Scottish Premiership action when they travel to Aberdeen on Saturday 12 April, but they will be far more concerned by Thursday's Europa League clash with Bilbao.

Defeating La Liga outfit Bilbao and consequently progressing to the semi-finals has become even more important for Ferguson and his bid to become the Gers' next permanent boss after his side provided the Ibrox faithful with yet another disappointment in the form of a 2-0 home defeat to Hibernian.
Overcoming a strong Bilbao side, who sit fourth in the Spanish top-flight, could prove a tall order for the Bears, but it would be exactly what Ferguson needs.
