Barry Ferguson in 'Extraordinary' new permanent Rangers manager update
Barry Ferguson picked up the biggest win of his managerial career as Rangers beat Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Bears outclassed Jose Mourinho in the Europa League round of 16 first leg in Turkiye, winning 3-1 with goals from Vaclav Cerny and Cyriel Dessers.
After Philippe Clement was sacked, Ferguson was placed in interim charge at Ibrox as the 49ers and Andrew Cavenagh close in on a takeover.

The Ibrox legend has made it no secret that he is beaming with pride to be in charge of Rangers, with his passion coming through in Istanbul last time out.
Ferguson is said to be bursting to get the manager role full time, but he may not get that chance.
Chris Jack has reported that it would take something "extraordinary" for that to happen though, like winning the Europa League.
Speaking on the Rangers Review, he said: "I think when it comes to Barry, it would take something extraordinary like getting to a European final or potentially winning it for him to be in the conversation.
"I would still be surprised if he was the Rangers manager heading into next season."
49ers ready for new era with Rangers takeover
With the 49ers and Cavenagh having an agreement in place for their takeover, it should only be a matter of time before that is confirmed and announced.
Ferguson has only taken charge of three games, and it has been hit and miss.
The win at Fenerbahce was huge for everyone at Ibrox, but it followed another shocking home defeat against Motherwell, a familiar story this season.

Everyone is already looking at the comparisons with Roberto Di Matteo and Chelsea, where he earned the permanent role after lifting the Champions League.
This is completely different given the budgets and players available to both, with Didier Drogba scoring against Bayern Munich before winning the penalty shootout.
If Rangers get past Fenerbahce as expected on Thursday, it is Roma or Athletic Bilbao next in the quarter finals, so it doesn't get any easier.
Something special happens with Rangers in Europe though, and these Thursday nights are no surprise to anyone, with the Bears able to beat anyone in front of them.
Ferguson will only be thinking about the next game, for now.
