Rangers striker Danilo is unlikely to play the full 90 minutes until November due to his knee injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that due to his recent setback, as he had to undergo a second surgery on his knee, the club will be more careful with his return.

The 25-year-old's only appearance this season was when he played 24 minutes and scored a goal in the 6-0 win over Ross County on 24 August.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:

"The best way to deal with him is a methodical and steadily progressive plan to allow him to acclimate and build up his minutes.

"His progression to individual training is a good sign but once you start to load the knee more, it’s a critical period for the recovery so let's wait and see.

"I’d still say it’s unlikely he plays the full 90 minutes until November, at the earliest, given his setback."

Danilo has struggled with his fitness since joining Rangers

Danilo looked to be the real deal for Gers last season but he's not been the same since his multiple injury setbacks.

He seemed extremely sharp in his cameo against Ross County, but luck once again, was not on his side.

The club will be hoping that this recent surgery puts an end to his fitness woes and he can go on to have an impactful season.
