Rangers have reportedly made £16million from the Champions League this season despite failing to win a single point thus far.

According to the Mirror on 13 October, rivals Celtic have made £22.4million as the two Glasgow clubs have been knocked out of the competition.

As a win gives you £2.45million and a draw is worth £860,000, Gers are theoretically in contention to earn close to £5million from the games against Napoli and Ajax in addition to the added matchday revenues.

Rangers

Poor showing

Rangers have shown everyone that they're far away from being a Champions League side as they've capitulated in every game.

After such an incredible first half performance at Ibrox against Liverpool, they did absolutely nothing in the second half.

They struggled to deal with the pressure from the Reds and it looked like boys against men on the pitch at times and it was embarrassing to watch.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst certainly has questions to answer and he does not seem like he knows what to do to turn things around.

He may have been let down by the board, but losing 7-1 is certainly not acceptable by any stretch of the imagination.

We do not know what's going to happen in the future but it is clearly not looking good for the Dutchman.
