Report: Wigan poised to move for Rangers attacker Jordan Jones this summer
Wigan are poised to make a move for Rangers attacker Jordan Jones, according to The Daily Record.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland, where he put in an impressive run of performances that have seen him emerge as a transfer target for Wigan.
He has fallen down the pecking order at the Ibrox, and the club are unlikely to come in his way should the Latics match their valuation for the left winger.

Last season, he impressed in League One for the Black Cats and Wigan, who play in the same division, were impressed by his performances.
Former Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips was also won over by the player's displays in the past few months.
He told Football Fancast, “He’s taken time to settle in but now we’re seeing it pay off. He scored an unbelievable goal against Crewe.
“It’s great to have players like that and you don’t play for Rangers unless you’ve got something about you.
“In League One, if you’ve got something about you, then you’ll perform. So, the good thing about these players is that they’re performing at the right time.”
The quality of football in England's third tier is not comparable to the Scottish Premiership, and the fact that he had a few good months there, doesn't mean he merits a spot in our first-team squad.
He's been one our wage bill for far too long and if there is a genuine interest in his services, then we must do everything we can to offload him as soon as possible.
We're unsure how much Wigan are willing to shell out for the player, but per Transfermarkt, he's valued at £540,000 and if he can get that amount closer to the seven-digit mark then it would be considered good business by the club.
