Rangers boss Philippe Clement has made two changes to his starting XI for their encounter with Hearts on Sunday.

The Gers announced their line-up on their official X account with James Tavernier coming in to replace Dujon Sterling and Leon Balogun replacing Robin Propper in defence for the clash at Ibrox (10 November).

The duo were the only changes made from the Gers' draw against Olympiacos in the Europa League.

Philippe Clement needs a win to ease Rangers pressure

The Belgian has been under heavy scrutiny for several weeks at Ibrox and defeat against Hearts would only amplify that.

A defeat would leave the Gers 12 points from the top of the table with Aberdeen and Celtic showing no signs of slowing down.

Hearts will provide a test for the Belgian's side despite having won just twice all season. You'd expect the away side to sit deep and challenge Clement's men to break them down, something Rangers have struggled with on many occasions so far this campaign.

Calls have been made for Clement to lose his job if they lose the League Cup final against Celtic although defeat on 10 November could end that tenure significantly earlier.

A 12-point gap would be almost impossible to recover, and especially very difficult for a side who have failed to string a consistent run of performances together since the start of the season.
