Rangers defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo suffered an injury in the Netherlands v England Under-21s game on 18 November.

Heart and Hand's David Edgar reacted to footage emerging from the game on X, in which he can be seen holding his knee in pain as he fell to the floor.

The 22-year-old came on in the 13th minute and had to be taken off in the 80th because of the injury.

Via X, Edgar wrote: "Doesn’t look good. Hope he’s okay."

Rangers will be hoping Neraysho Kasanwirjo's injury is nothing serious

This is why fans hate international breaks.

It was an Under-21s friendly game and one where Kasanwirjo would probably not have played the majority of minutes as well.

He was on the bench and would probably have been got in the second period, but it would not have been him playing most of the game.

This incident does not look good at all as it seems like something twisted, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.

Whether or not his not continuing the game was a precaution or not, remains to be seen, and everyone involved with Rangers will be hoping it's nothing serious.

Philippe Clement will also be gutted as the Dutchman was proving himself to be an extremely reliable option at the back.

The club will conduct scans in the next 24 hours and there is a likelihood of more clarity before the weekend of how serious the injury is.
