Rangers player ratings v Aberdeen: Danilo, Propper flop, Hagi shines

Rangers picked up the three points against Aberdeen at Ibrox, beating them 3-0 on Wednesday night.

Hamza Igamane opened the scoring for Gers, giving them a much-deserved lead going into the break.

Despite creating plenty of chances, the hosts failed to add another goal until the dying stages of the contest with Leon Balogun scoring a header and Cyriel Dessers also scoring to secure maximum points for Philippe Clement's side.

Here are our player ratings from the game:

Liam Kelly - 7

Made two routine saves and did not look nervy all game in what was an improved display from the goalkeeper.

Ridvan Yilmaz - 6

Looked solid defensively but was a bit wayward with his crossing and made a few questionable passes as well.

Robin Propper - 4

Slowed down play on multiple occasions and made a couple of defensive errors that could've been costly had Aberdeen been clinical.

Clinton Nsiala - 8

Played a lot like Calvin Bassey did in his heyday and while there were a few nervy moments, he's slowly growing into the left centre-back role and also set up the second goal.

Jefte - 6

While he was tidy in possession, he could've done better in the final third to combine with the players around him.

Nicolas Raskin - 6

A quieter game compared to recent weeks but his leadership is crucial and he's made a claim to be the full-time captain.

Mohamed Diomande - 4

Did not have the best of games as he struggled to control the tempo of the game and made some amateur errors.

Vaclav Cerny - 6

His touch was exemplary all game and he proved to be a constant thorn in the Dons side but made a few selfish decisions in the hunt to score for himself.

Danilo - 4

Could play only one half due to a shoulder injury but he failed to impact proceedings and even missed a big chance early on.

Ianis Hagi - 9

Created plenty of chances all game and was undoubtedly the biggest attacking threat all evening.

Hamza Igamane - 7

Scored the opener and looked a constant threat in front of goal as he gave the Dons defender a run for their money and could've scored a goal or two more.

Subs

Nedim Bajrami - 5

Was rather ineffective coming off the bench and that's not what Clement would've envisaged.

Leon Balogun - 7

Impressed after coming off the bench as he was imperious in the air and had a few good chances before he finally found the back of the net.

James Tavernier - 4

Didn't have too much time to impact proceedings in what was a late cameo.

Cyriel Dessers - 6

Scored with his first real chance of the game as he came off the bench late on to score the game's third goal.
