Danny Rohl’s Rangers idiocy summed up after Findlay Curtis heroics at Kilmarnock
Danny Rohl decided to effectively replace Findlay Curtis with Andreas Skov Olsen at Rangers in the winter transfer window.
The German manager was reluctant to give the Scottish youngster regular opportunities despite his impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign and he eventually joined Kilmarnock on loan.
Curtis has now scored four goals in the William Hill Premiership for the Killies, finding the back of the net twice against St Mirren at SMiSA Stadium on 9 May.
As for Skov Olsen, a signing which was supposed to push the Gers to the league title has ended up being one of the worst pieces of business at Ibrox in recent years.
Rohl should have trusted Curtis to contribute at the Glaswegian outfit this season, but instead, his idiocy has been on full display, continuing to give the VfL Wolfsburg loanee opportunities.
🚨 RANGERS TRANSFER UPDATE 🚨
The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
Andrew Cavenagh must make Findlay Curtis to Danny Rohl
Curtis has shown he’s ready to be a regular first-team star for the Gers ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The Light Blues have surely been left to regret their decision with the 19-year-old and Skov Olsen, but they must now learn from it at Ibrox.
| Statistics | Findlay Curtis |
| Appearances | 10 |
| Minutes played | 207 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Key passes | 3 |
| Big chances created | 1 |
Andrew Cavenagh should ask Rohl to give Curtis his deserved chance at the Glaswegian outfit next season and if he’s reluctant, then questions need to be asked of the German manager.
The 37-year-old head coach somehow seems to think that the Denmark international, who’s afraid to take on opposition defences in the Scottish top-flight, was better than the other options at his disposal in the 2-1 loss to Hearts, which sums up his stupidity.
Rangers mitigate Andreas Skov Olsen transfer disaster
Rangers have an option to buy Skov Olsen for £8.6million in the summer, but it’s not mandatory.
It would make no sense if the Gers completed a permanent move for the Danish winger in the upcoming transfer window.

The 26-year-old has arguably done nothing to warrant another chance at the Light Blues and should be sent back to Wolfsburg to evaluate his future.
Curtis is someone Rohl should build his team around, and if the German manager can’t do so, he should let someone else take charge of the club.
