Rangers‘ on-loan star Nasser Djiga made the switch to Ibrox when his parent club Wolves were a Premier League club, but that’s not the case anymore.
Wolves sent Djiga out on a straight loan deal until the end of the season with the Bears, as they thought they had enough quality at the back to stay in the top-flight.
A horrid start to the season under Vitor Pereira left the club at the bottom of the Premier League, before Rob Edwards took over and lost his first seven games in charge, making relegation seem a certainty.

Rangers have been tipped to sign Djiga for £8million, with the centre-back’s potential at Ibrox sky high.
It’s believed that Danny Rohl is a fan of the defender, who himself may want a permanent stay at Rangers following the relegation of his parent club.

The reality is that the 23-year-old is too good to play in the Championship, and after being deemed not good enough to play in the Premier League this season, he looks to have ironically outgrown Wolves.
This means that he could force a move this summer, which is music to the ears of Rangers fans, but the 49ers may face competition from his former side, Red Star Belgrade.
