Derek Cornelius to have a say in Rangers title run as defender back at it in Spain
Derek Cornelius is part of the Rangers warm-weather training camp in Spain.
The Gers shared pictures from their time in Marbella on 17 April, with the Canada international prominently featuring in the photos.
Cornelius had an apparent falling out with Danny Rohl at Ibrox, but it looks like the pair have put their differences aside for the Light Blues’ run-in to the William Hill Premiership title.
There have been concerns over the Glaswegian outfit’s defence in recent weeks, conceding two goals against Falkirk in the first half before mounting a comeback in the 6-3 victory away from home.
Rohl will surely be working on several aspects in Spain to improve the Govan side’s performance in the final five matches of the season and Cornelius may have a say in the team post-split.

Rangers get much-needed encouragement in William Hill Premiership
Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski both got on the scoresheet for the Gers’ win over Falkirk.
The lack of consistency from the Glaswegian outfit’s strikers up top has been an evident cause for concern for fans and Rohl alike this season.

With Ryan Naderi possibly picking up a season-ending injury, the Portuguese centre-forward and the North Macedonia international have arguably become even more important for the Light Blues.
If the Govan side want to win the league title, they will undoubtedly need firepower from Chermiti and Miovski up top, and it looks like the German manager will finally be able to get that.
Derek Cornelius option staring Danny Rohl in the face
John Souttar’s best spell in the Rangers starting lineup arguably came when he played alongside Cornelius.
The Canada international is a left-footed defender and brought balance to the Gers’ backline earlier in the season when they needed it the most.

Now, Nasser Djiga and Emmanuel Fernandez have come into their own, but Rohl should know he can always turn to the Olympique Marseille loanee when need be.
Cornelius’ return to full fitness will surely be a massive boost for the Govan side and it will be interesting to see what part he plays in their quest for glory.
