Bojan Miovski: Rangers striker must start after Ally McCoist seal of approval
Bojan Miovski has been tipped as possibly the best finisher at Rangers by Ally McCoist.
The Gers icon believes the North Macedonia international is one of those players who probably score for fun in training.
McCoist has given his seal of approval for the former Aberdeen striker and there’s no reason why Danny Rohl shouldn’t give him more opportunities post-split.
The 26-year-old has now scored three goals in his last two William Hill Premiership appearances for the Light Blues and his turn of form has arguably come at the right time of the season.
Danny Rohl should trust Miovski more in the final stretch of the campaign and the Govan side should take advantage of their momentum to pip Hearts and Celtic to the league title.

Bojan Miovski will feel hard done by at Rangers
Miovski hasn’t started in any of the Gers’ last eight matches in the William Hill Premiership.
Rohl preferred Ryan Naderi and Youssef Chermiti as his two number nines after the winter transfer window, but the German centre-forward looks to be out for the rest of the season after picking up an injury.
The ex-Girona ace is the second-highest goalscorer for the Light Blues in all competitions for the 2025-26 campaign, but the former Sheffield Wednesday boss has been reluctant to give him consistent opportunities.

While Chermiti has shown glimpses of his talent, he does miss a lot of big chances, and it would make sense to rely on the North Macedonia attacker to lead the line in the upcoming matches.
Speaking about Miovski on talkSPORT on 15 April, McCoist said, “I actually think he’s the best finisher at the club. I bet you in training he’s one of these boys who finishes for fun, you know.”
Ibrox transfer dilemma on cards after what’s happened with Bojan Miovski
Miovski’s struggles at Rangers could potentially see him hand in a transfer request in the summer for regular game time elsewhere.
The striker clearly needs an arm around his shoulder, but it doesn’t look like Rohl fancies him enough to do so once he gets Naderi back.

While the German manager had no problem sticking with the former Hansa Rostock centre-forward in the starting lineup despite only scoring his first league goal after eight attempts, he hasn’t shown the same faith in Miovski.
With the North Macedonia international below the other two number nine options in the pecking order, the Glaswegian outfit may be forced to part ways with him in the upcoming transfer window.
