Bojan Miovski may have picked up an injury as Rangers lost to Ferencvaros in the Europa League on Thursday.

Danny Rohl failed to beat Robbie Keane at the Groupama Arena on 11 December despite the North Macedonian striker giving the Gers the lead in the 2-1 defeat.

The German manager was particularly let down by his defenders, with Emmanuel Fernandez all over the place against Ferencvaros.

Hibernian are set to travel to Ibrox next, and Rohl may look to make a few changes to his team as the Glaswegian outfit look to keep up their unbeaten domestic form.

Clinton Nsiala set for first Rangers start vs Hibernian

James Tavernier, Nasser Djiga and Fernandez seemed to be playing in a back three when the Gers were without the ball in Budapest.

The former Peterborough United defender and the captain don't deserve to play the upcoming fixture at Ibrox after their underwhelming performances in Hungary.

Clinton Nsiala may be set for a rare start under Rohl, with the 21-year-old centre-back replacing Fernandez in the starting lineup.

Speaking after losing to Ferencvaros, the former Sheffield Wednesday boss said: "Honestly, I'm very angry about our conceded goals. This is the big disappointment for me tonight."

Rohl may also opt to revert to a back four, with Tavernier on the bench, Mohamed Diomande as the number 10 and Danilo as the lone striker in place of Miovski.

Mikey Moore and Djeidi Gassama should start on the wings, as they've been among the most effective attacking outlets for the Glaswegian outfit this season.

Danny Rohl to demand two transfers at Ibrox in January

In the absence of a sporting director, the German manager will surely have a big say in who Rangers should sign, and a new striker should be a priority.

Youssef Chermiti has failed to live up to expectations at the Gers, and if Miovski's injury is serious, the German manager will face a major dilemma over the number nine position.

On the former Girona striker's injury, Rohl said: "Bojan got a kick, but it could be a little bit more. Hopefully not, but we have to look at him properly."

Also considering Djiga and Fernandez's error-prone performances, a new centre-back should be on the Glaswegian outfit's agenda, but it remains to be seen what will happen in January.
