Jack Butland will certainly take the plaudits as Rangers beat Hibernian in the William Hill Premiership on Wednesday.

Danny Rohl's team travelled to Easter Road on 29 October, with the Gers coming away with a narrow 1-0 victory and securing their first away clean sheet of the calendar year.

Danilo scored the opener against Hibs in the fifth minute, and the Brazilian striker's world-class strike was enough for the Light Blues to secure the three points.

However, there was a late scare as Connor Barron conceded a penalty after bringing down Junior Hoillet, but the Glaswegian outfit's goalkeeper denied Jamie McGrath from the spot.

Jack Butland saves another penalty in Rangers win vs Hibernian

Butland has now saved six of the last seven penalties he's faced in all competitions for the Gers.

Kris Boyd lauded the English goalkeeper, terming his record at the Light Blues "incredible" after denying Hibernian a late equaliser.

The Glaswegian outfit kept their second clean sheet in the league campaign at Easter Road, having conceded 10 goals in nine matches before their trip to Edinburgh.

Speaking on Sky Sports Football on 29 October at 22:08, Boyd said: "Six in his last seven he's saved, that's incredible."

Butland has been one of the few standout players at Ibrox this season, and the shot-stopper once again showed why he's an influential figure at the Gers.

After falling down the pecking order towards the end under Barry Ferguson, the English goalkeeper has bounced back well despite the initial struggles for the Light Blues.

Danny Rohl has undroppable at Ibrox after win at Easter Road

Jayden Meghoma has thrived under Rohl's new system, and the Brentford loanee was once again a constant threat against Hibs.

Rangers have looked much more defensively astute when playing with three centre-backs, which has allowed the left-back to showcase the full range of his attacking talent.

Having picked up a yellow card at around the 30th minute and then subsequently being pulled over by John Beaton on a couple of occasions, Rohl was right to take him off at half-time.

But Meghoma will undoubtedly be one of the first names on the teamsheet as the Gers face Celtic next in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on 2 November.
