Russell Martin has lost the support of every single Rangers fan around the globe.

It has been a somewhat impressive feat in only three months, but after only one win in seven Scottish Premiership games, patience has run out at Ibrox.

Martin may have already been given the boot, if shock footage from 6 October is anything to go by.

Rangers may have finally sacked Russell Martin

As the Rangers squad left the Falkirk Stadium, they were held up by fans and had to wait to leave the premises, as protests exploded fully.

The eagle-eyed viewer would have noticed that Martin wasn't on the team coach, but instead left separately in a car, with a Police escort.

In wild footage shared by BBC Sport Scotland, it just proves that this has gone too far.

No manager should have to be put through that, but no fan should be forced to pay their hard-earned money to sit and watch rubbish every week.

Given that the players were made to wait, the fact that Martin was allowed through the side door may suggest he has already been given his marching orders behind closed doors.

It isn't just the Scottish Premiership where things are bad; Rangers shipped nine against Club Brugge in 180 minutes to crash out of the Champions League.

Dropping into the Europa League because of that, they've also lost their two opening games in that.

Sack Russell Martin or lose total confidence

Should the American ownership not sack the manager and look for their next candidate during this international break, they will lose total confidence from everybody in Ibrox.

After only months in charge, it would be a huge blow for that to happen, even after spending more than £20million in the summer transfer window.

Martin may have already gone, and if so, the announcement must be made swiftly.
