Ianis Hagi departed Rangers at the end of last season, and he is now close to finding a new club.

Hagi was well-liked at Ibrox, but injuries plagued him throughout his time in Glasgow, and he left on a free transfer to kick-start his career elsewhere.

Rangers have let a lot of players go in recent months as part of a big rebuild, and there is now a new-look attack following the Romanian's exit.

The versatile attacking midfielder now has a concrete offer on the table, while several other clubs are interested in signing him.

Hagi has a concrete offer amid interest in Turkey

After leaving Rangers, Hagi could potentially be set to move to a UEFA Champions League side, as several clubs in Turkey and beyond have registered interest in him.

Romanian outlet Fanatik (July 28) have now reported that Hagi has a concrete offer from one unnamed Turkish side based in Istanbul, who have a "lot of money" to spend this summer.

His father, Gheorghe Hagi, is a legendary figure at Galatasaray, possibly making them one of the clubs interested in the 26-year-old.

Hagi endured a difficult final season at Rangers, but provided 12 goals and assists in 35 appearances across all competitions, with his final strike a last-minute screamer to salvage a point against Aberdeen.

Rangers were right to let go of Hagi

Hagi could have potentially been a useful asset for Russell Martin, but his poor injury record meant that a departure was the best decision for Rangers.

The previous squad needs to be cleared out as much as possible as the Gers aim to usher in a new era at Ibrox, and no player will be considered untouchable.

This meant that Hagi, who failed to nail down a starting spot last season, was an obvious candidate to leave, especially given that Rangers have since brought in replacements.

Lyall Cameron and Thelo Aasgaard have both joined as attacking midfielders, while the wing options are also being strengthened.

Mikey Moore is set to join on loan from Tottenham, while Djeidi Gassama has already made a positive impression since joining from Sheffield Wednesday.
