Rangers are prepared to let Alex Lowry and Adam Devine leave in the January transfer window, according to Rangers Review.

The outlet reported via their website on 23 December that the Light Blues are open to offers for the 21-year-old pair, who have their contracts expiring at the end of the season.

Lowry and Devine could seek a January transfer as they are yet to make a single appearance for Philippe Clement's side this season.

The report does not provide any details about where the players could be headed, although it appears their time at Ibrox is nearing an end.

Both Lowry and Devine came through the ranks at Rangers before making their senior debuts under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

The former went on to make 14 first-team appearances in all competitions, bagging four goals and assists. The latter, meanwhile, has played in 11 games.

However, none of them has come under Clement this season, meaning they are not in the Belgian tactician's plans.

It, therefore, makes sense for all parties to seek a January transfer when the window opens next week.

It offers the Gers the opportunity to bag at least some money for their sales instead of losing them for free at the end of the season.

It remains to be seen which clubs are interested in signing Lowry and Devine.

Clement's side, meanwhile, could enter the market for a new centre-back in January after injuries to defenders John Souttar and Neraysho Kasanwirjo.
