Derek Ferguson was blown away by a "terrific" piece of skill he saw from Hamza Igamane during the Rangers versus Dundee match.

Igamane started for the Gers in Saturday's (21 December) 1-0 win over Dundee at Ibrox, in which Vaclav Cerny's goal proved the difference.

The Moroccan attacker pulled out a number of tricks, with one moment in particular earning the praise of Ferguson live on BBC Scotland Extra [21 December, 3:26pm].

"It's another nutmeg. It's incredible how many times he sucks a player in," Ferguson said.

"It's terrific skill and is brilliant to watch. He does need to find that end product as well."

Hamza Igamane a superb signing for Rangers

Rangers' signings in recent windows have been hit and miss to say the least. It is fair to say Igamane falls into the former of the two.

While Ferguson's right in saying Igamane could still end a little more end product to his game, he can be more than happy with his return of six goals and an assist in all competitions thus far.

Igamane is a flair player, as highlighted by his nutmegs, and is a player who often stands up and delivers for Philippe Clement.

Indeed, it is no surprise to see some sides south of the border potentially weighing up offers for the 22-year-old in the January transfer window.

He was guilty of a poor miss in the second half, granted, but Rangers are not expecting to have the finished product.

There is room for improvement but, on the basis of what we have seen so far, there will be plenty more goals to come for Igamane in a Rangers shirt.
