Rangers’ chief commercial officer has left his role at Ibrox to explore new opportunities, according to Four Lads.
Four Lads reported the “breaking news” via X [12 December] after the figure arrived at Ibrox during the summer of 2023, a move which was seen as rather positive at the time.
Virani brought 15 years of commercial and marketing experience to the Scottish club, having worked at West Ham United before making the switch last year and has been working behind the scenes ever since.

The Gers are in an incredibly difficult campaign right now, on and off the pitch, with Philippe Clement struggling in the managerial position while the boardroom is continuously slandered.
This breaking news, of course, has not been greeted with positive reactions, especially right before their Europa League tie against Tottenham on Thursday 12 December.
With the Premier League side, managed by Ange Postecoglou, coming to Ibrox for a night under the lights, breaking news such as this exit is not needed hours before kick-off.
The Light Blues’ board continues to make decisions with a severe lack of judgement, with supporters likely to argue that Clement still being in charge is top of that list right now.
Virani’s exit is just another chance made by the club and fans have every right to question what is going on at the very top of the hierarchy at Ibrox.
For news to be leaking out hours before the Spurs clash seems like an incredibly stupid decision, not by Four Lads, but by whoever has let the information slip.
Thursday night is now likely to be about the breaking news rather than the football on show at Ibrox. Even if Clement pulls off an unlikely feat, questions will continue to come back to Virani’s exit.
