Danny Mills makes Rangers v Tottenham prediction live on talkSPORT
Danny Mills has predicted that Rangers supporters could intimidate the Tottenham players in the Europa League clash on Thursday.
The Gers have won three of their five matches in the competition so far and find themselves in eighth place in the league phase, the final automatic qualification spot for the knockout stages.
Their opposition on 12 December are right behind them in ninth place by virtue of two less goals scored than the Light Blues.
Former England defender Mills was asked for his prediction by co-host Jim Proudfoot on talkSPORT2 [10 December, 20:25], saying: “The gulf in quality should tell you that Tottenham win the game comfortably, that is how it should be.
“But it’s at Ibrox isn’t it, again it’s about that crowd, they get behind you, it could be fierce, it could be intimidating.”
Rangers home form is crucial
Gers manager Philippe Clement is under severe pressure at Ibrox after a poor start to the season however the club’s home form has been good.
The Light Blues have only lost three games at home this campaign, including a 4-1 defeat in their opening European clash with Lyon.
The Europa League has been a welcome distraction from a poor domestic campaign for the Belgian with three wins, one draw and one loss.

Results have picked up recently with the Gers on a three-match winning streak in the Scottish Premiership.
However, Clement is facing a crucial week in his tenure, if results against Tottenham and then Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup final do not go his way, it could be curtains for the Belgian.
In other Rangers news, a Gers transfer target with PL experience could be set to leave his club in January.
