Patrick Stewart and not the new Rangers chairman will be the ultimate decision maker at Ibrox, according to Chris Jack.

The Rangers Review journalist wrote on 25 November that Malcolm Offord is on the brink of being named the new chairman.

However, Stewart, who was announced as the CEO on 25 November, is the one who's understood to have the final say over the goings on behind the scenes.

Rangers need Patrick Stewart to change the course of the club

Stewart arrives highly recommended and has known what operations are at a world class side, having been at Manchester United for several years.

Gers currently are at a critical juncture where decisive leadership is essential to navigate its future direction, particularly after a period of executive upheaval.

With his extensive experience in football, Stewart undoubtedly brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of dealing with high-level operational challenges.

His appointment as the ultimate decision-maker at Ibrox signifies a strategic move to stabilize and perhaps revolutionise the club's operational framework.

Stewart's role will be pivotal in making tough calls on transfers, managerial appointments and strategic partnerships.

His background in legal and commercial aspects of football management could be key in steering Rangers back to competitive success and financial stability.

With the potential for Offord to assume the role of chairman, Stewart and he could work hand in hand for the big-picture decisions at Ibrox.
