Rangers have secured a record-breaking deal with global fintech company Guavapay, according to Jonny McFarlane.

The Rangers Review journalist claims that it is the biggest back-of-shirt deal in the club's history.

It has been revealed that the deal is 45 per cent bigger than any of the previous ones at the Ibrox outfit.

Rangers can benefit greatly from their association with Guavapay

Gers made an official announcement on 22 November with Chief Commercial Officer Karim Virani lauding the move.

This undoubtedly is a significant step for the club at a time when they've just announced heavy losses, potentially providing both financial stability and a boost in brand visibility.

This partnership, being the largest back-of-shirt sponsorship deal in the club's history, not only underscores the appeal to global corporations but also injects substantial funds into the coffers.

These resources could be pivotal in supporting squad investment, particularly in areas of need like player acquisitions or infrastructure improvements.

Furthermore, the integration of Guavapay's technology at Ibrox could streamline operations, enhancing fan experience which in turn could foster a better home atmosphere, potentially influencing match results positively.

While the club are doing relatively well commercially, the fans will certainly want to see better performances on the field of play.
