Danilo has been spotted at Glasgow Airport after being left out of the Rangers squad for the Europa League group stage, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.

The newspaper reported on 6 September (page 84) that the 25-year-old is facing longer out injured but the Gers have denied reports of more surgery.

The Brazilian was spotted leaving Glasgow Airport to "recuperate" after the "shock omission" from Philippe Clement's European squad.

Injuries have reduced him to just 13 league appearances for the Gers as well as 10 in other competitions [FotMob].

Given the fee that he came in for, Clement will have hoped for much better but there is only so much the Brazilian do.

Luckily for the Light Blues, Cyriel Dessers has papered over the cracks with excellent goalscoring form despite performances being frustrating at times.

There is no doubt that having a fully fit Danilo involved at Ibrox for the rest of the season would be a boost after a disappointing start to the campaign.

Unfortunately, it doesn't feel like that is going to happen anytime soon given the injury concerns he has already had in his time in Glasgow.
