Rangers defender Connor Goldson is already following Aris Limassol's captain Vana Alves on Instagram with an official announcement still to be made.

The 31-year-old flew out to Cyrus during the club's pre-season preparation to hold transfer talks recently, per the Scottish Sun on 23 July.

It's also understood that he's already joined up with his Aris teammates after jetting in for his medical on 26 July. [Sky Sports]

Connor Goldson all but appears to have announced his Rangers exit

Goldson's actions on social media, specifically following Aris' captain on Instagram, strongly suggest that he has all but officially announced his exit.

This move, coupled with his recent trip to Cyprus for transfer talks and subsequent joining of his new teammates after a medical, paints a clear picture of an impending departure from Rangers.

The fact that the Englishman is already integrating with his new team before an official announcement indicates that the deal is likely finalised or very close to completion.

Such actions are indicative of a player who is fully committed to his new club and is preparing for the next chapter in his career.

Given these developments, it is reasonable to expect an official announcement confirming Goldson's departure from the Scottish club to be imminent.

The timeline of events suggests that all necessary steps have been taken and it is now just a matter of making the news public.
