Rangers could finalise the transfers Sevilla playmaker Joan Jordan and Wolfsburg ace Vaclav Cerny in the coming days, according to the Daily Record.

This was reported by the newspaper on 25 July via their website and stated that the trio of James Tavernier, Todd Cantwell, and Connor Goldson are also on the cusp of exiting Ibrox.

Plenty of change is still expected to happen at the Gers and, if this report is anything to go by, there are many moves still to be made.

Rangers need to finalise their squad sooner rather than later

Although the start of the Scottish Premiership season is still some time away yet, the Gers will no doubt want to finalise their team soon in order to build their cohesion.

Philippe Clement will be looking to finally beat the Gers' arch-rivals Celtic to the title this term.

Additions have already been made to the squad with the likes of Connor Barron and Jefte coming in to replace stalwarts John Lundstram and Borna Barisic.

It's been clear since the start of the transfer window that Clement has wanted to build for the future this summer.

Hence why, the arrivals of both Cerny and Jordan could be key to the Gers' title hopes this term.

The pair would bring some experience to the squad and would perhaps even be able to instruct the youngsters around them on how to improve their game.

Because, as important as building for the future is, a good mixture of experience and youth is required for teams to perform well.
