Rangers are set to seal the signing of AS FAR striker Hamza Igamane with an official announcement expected imminently, according to the Scottish Sun.

The newspaper reported via its online website on Sunday, 23 June, that the 21-year-old is set to be the fifth summer signing for Gers.

He will be moving to Ibrox for £2.5million after agreeing on a five-year contract at the Glasgow outfit.

Have Rangers managed to fast-track Hamza Igmane's visa?

However, if an announcement is indeed imminent, Gers have managed to pull through the red tape pretty efficiently.

It remains to be seen whether or not the club opt to go for another striker should Igamane actually walk through the door.

While he does appear to be a young up and comer, Philippe Clement surely needs a nine who's an upgrade on the current options at the club.

Danilo's return from injury could be like a new signing but there are no guarantees that he will hit the ground running either.

Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland
Prolific Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland has been linked with a move to Rangers.

Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland is understood to be among the top attainable options out there for the club and it remains to be seen if they make a move after the EUROs.
