Hamza Igamane has agreed a four-year contract with Rangers ahead of a £1.5million move to Ibrox, according to The Fourth Official.

Writing on his Patreon account (20 June), the journalist reports that the Moroccan forward will put pen to paper on a long-term deal with the transfer expected to be completed next week.

Igamane is set to become the fifth signing of the summer after Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala and Connor Barron were all confirmed as arrivals, with Liam Kelly also expected to join after Euro 2024 [Daily Record, 20 June].

Rangers waste no time in summer transfer window

Philippe Clement promised big changes at Ibrox this summer, and he has delivered already before June has even ended.

Imagane will make it five new arrivals confirmed in a variety of positions, and there is still surely even more to come with plenty of names being linked.

Not many people will know about the young Moroccan sensation, but at just 21-years-old there is plenty of room for growth and development in the player and that is what the club are targeting this summer [Chris Jack, 26 January].

Capable of playing across the forward line as a winger or a striker, his eye for goal is visible and working alongside better players it would be fair to expect his tally to improve in the 2024/25 season too.

Clement is getting everything he wants so far this summer and with his only objective to catch and dethrone Celtic, he won't have any excuses if he fails to deliver this season.
