Rangers are one of several clubs in hot pursuit of Bayern Munich winger Yusuf Kabadayi, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports Germany reporter revealed via X (5 June) that the Gers are one of several "concrete suitors" for the 20-year-old.

St. Pauli and Lecce are also interested in a move for the Bayern forward.

Kabadayi spent last season on loan with Schalke 04.

The German side were interested in exercising their option to sign him permanently but the deal was too expensive.

Philippe Clement would benefit from the arrival of Yusuf Kabadayi at Rangers

If the Gers want to hunt down Celtic next season then a lot of work needs to be done this summer.

While the club will of course hope to keep hold of their best players, it will also be important to make some additions to the squad.

And Kabadayi would certainly be an exciting addition.

For Rangers to be linked with any player from Bayern Munich is understandably exciting.

Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world with some of the best players in Europe on their books.

Any player who has spent time in that environment will bring a winning mentality with him to his next club.

And Kabadayi also has quality.

He is a young player who Clement could mould into a top forward in Glasgow.

Rangers need winners, and any player coming from Bayern is certainly a winner.
