Footage has emerged of Rangers loanee Ianis Hagi on social media after the Romania game against Northern Ireland on Friday (22 March).

A Gers fan posted a video on Twitter on Saturday (23 March), where the 25-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan with La Liga side Alaves, can be seen shaking hands with supporters who were singing his name after the match.

The winger came off the bench as Romania played out a 1-1 draw with Northern Ireland in a friendly game in Bucharest.

Could Ianis Hagi have a future at Rangers?

It's nice to see Hagi take time out to embrace the fans who were singing his name after the game and he genuinely looked happy to see them.

It's no surprise that there were several Rangers supporters at the match as the club has many fans from Northern Ireland.

It will be pleasing for the winger to see that he is still highly thought of by sections of the fanbase after he's endured a difficult loan spell with Alaves.

The Romanian has only featured four times off the bench in La Liga since the turn of the year and his only two goals since joining the Spanish side last summer came in the Copa del Rey against lowly Deportivo Murcia.

Ianis Hagi is a constant topic at Rangers and Ibrox

It seems unlikely that Hagi will earn a permanent deal in Spain once his loan deal comes to an end, so there is a chance Philippe Clement could hand him an opportunity back at Ibrox next season.
