Rangers defender Borna Barisic has not agreed on personal terms with Trabzonspor yet, according to Football Scotland.

The news outlet reported on 21 March that despite reports from elsewhere, nothing has been agreed yet with the Turkish side.

Barisic is understood to be still waiting on interest shown by clubs in England with his contract running out in the summer.

Barisic takes time to finalise Rangers exit

It makes sense for Barisic to exercise patience and not rush into a decision regarding his future.

By not hastily agreeing to personal terms with Trabzonspor or any other club, he can maintain focus on performing for Gers until the end of the season.

This allows him to contribute fully to his current side's objectives without distractions.

Additionally, taking his time gives Barisic the opportunity to assess all potential options available to him, including interest from clubs in England or elsewhere.

He might have a change of heart regarding his preferences or discover a club that aligns more closely with his aspirations once the season concludes.

By remaining patient and allowing his representatives to handle transfer negotiations, Barisic can ensure that he makes a well-informed decision that maximises his career opportunities and personal satisfaction.

Philippe Clement has turned things around at Rangers

With Jefte coming in, he will be the third choice probably so it makes sense to allow him to leave.
