Ianis Hagi has reacted to a clip of Rangers' incredible comeback victory against Sporting Braga in the Europa League back in 2020.

Tuesday 20 February marked four years since the Romanian magician netted twice at Ibrox, either side of a Joe Aribo goal, to overcome a 2-0 deficit against Braga.

The result will be remembered as one of the greatest nights in recent history at the club, and Hagi has lauded the home stadium for the raucous reaction to his brace.

Reacting to UEFA's post on X, the midfielder wrote: "Ibrox baby, it's just different," followed by a blue heart.

Ianis Hagi the hero that Rangers deserve

Hagi seems to have been a bit of a forgotten man at Ibrox this season, but his recent comment would suggest that the 25-year-old cannot wait to return.

He has been on loan at Deportivo Alaves since the start of the season, leaving Rangers under the guidance of Michael Beale. But he will return to the managerial prowess of Philippe Clement.

There is no doubt that Hagi is an exciting talent and could be utilised by Clement when he returns from Spain at the end of the campaign. Many fans were asking for him to return from his loan early in January but it was never a possible move due to the agreement in his loan contract.

Capable of playing in midfield, or on the right flank, Hagi can offer the Rangers squad a new dimension to their play. He can stabilise the midfield and get stuck in, or push his side up the pitch and take on the full-back with his speed and agility.

When Hagi returns, and Clement can see his talents first-hand, the Belgian will be left with a starting XI headache. The Romanian can help with the transition from midfield to attack but will need to prove himself against the new additions at the club.
