Dujon Sterling, Scott Wright axed – Rangers Predicted XI v Livingston

Philippe Clement could be set to make some changes to his Rangers starting lineup for their SPFL clash with Livingston on Saturday afternoon.

The Gers claimed all three points in a 1-0 win over St Mirren last time out to keep the gap between them and Celtic at five points with a game in hand, and have since signed Mohammed Diomande and Oscar Cortes to bolster the squad.

Now Clement must decide on his starting lineup for the game at Ibrox as he looks to keep the pressure on in the title race, with calls to be made on the two new signings and whether they can make their debut.

Jack Butland will start in goal after the club rejected a late bid from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window, while exit-linked Ridvan Yilmaz is also expected to start after a move to Galatasaray never materialised.

James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and John Souttar should also continue in defence with Clement likely to stick with the back line that has been performing well since the season restarted.

In midfield John Lundstram is likely to start as the deepest option as he continues his impressive form, while Nicolas Raskin should also get the nod in a slightly more advanced role. That opens up a spot for Diomande to make his debut for the Gers, with a license to push forward and create.

Predicted Rangers starting lineup to play Livingston

Todd Cantwell should keep his position in the team but could move to his preferred left-wing position, leaving Dujon Sterling to move to the bench despite his good form.

Colombian winger Oscar Cortes should start on the right-wing ahead of Scott Wright after his uninspiring performance against St Mirren saw him taken off at half-time, while Cyriel Dessers should start as the number nine after three goals in three games.
