Rangers transfer news as Ross McCausland wanted by Doncaster Rovers and other English clubs
Rangers attacker Ross McCausland is reportedly on the radar of Doncaster Rovers and other clubs in England in this summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Record [7 July, 14:06], clubs in League One and League Two are keen on securing his services on loan.
Gers could be open to allowing the “talented” 20-year-old to leave on loan as they pulled out of the Lowlands League.

Makes sense
McCausland was given his senior debut by Michael Beale last season so it’s evident that the manager rates him enough for him to play senior football.
A step up at Ibrox may be too soon for him so he can perhaps look at opportunities away from the club this summer.
Going to England and playing in the third or fourth tier could be just what he needs to take his game to the next level.
He will be among the best players for the teams he joins and that responsibility of delivering every week will hold him in good stead for the coming years.

It makes sense also given that he will not get proper competition without the Lowlands League so he’s much better playing every week at the senior level.
He even trained with Michael O’Neill’s full Northern Ireland squad at their training camp earlier this summer so an international cap may not be very far away.
In other Rangers news, the club have now received a breakthrough in their pursuit to complete another summer signing as a key target will not be signing an extension.
