Burnley path cleared to sign Rangers attacker Ryan Kent this summer after Thursday development
Burnley’s path to sign Rangers attacker Ryan Kent has now appeared to have cleared as they reportedly submitted their accounts to the EFL on Thursday, 4 May.
According to the Daily Record [5 May, 15:39], the English governing body has lifted the transfer embargo that was placed on the club in March.
The soon-to-be Premier League outfit are understood to be the favourites to sign the English attacker who could be followed out of the club by a host of players including Alfredo Morelos, and Filip Helander, among others.

He’s not seemed bothered for the past few months and Michael Beale too will not have been impressed by his performances.
With the Scottish Cup also gone, the manager need not play the likes of Kent and Morelos as it’s pretty clear they’re going in the summer.
Yes, it may make the side slightly weaker but it will give some of the fringe players a chance to step up to the occasion and play without pressure.
That can only be beneficial to everyone involved at the club, including Beale, who can gauge how they fare if given regular minutes for the senior side.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
