Alfredo Morelos emerges as Galatasaray Plan B as Rangers exit chances grow
Alfredo Morelos has emerged as a transfer option for Galatasaray this summer as his Rangers future continues to look bleak, according to Fotomac.
The Colombian ace is out of contract at the end of the season and as yet there has been no new offer made to him at Ibrox, with Michael Beale preferring to use Antonio Colak in the most recent games.
And that has alerted the 21-time Super Lig champions Galatasaray to his potential availability, but the report suggests he is not the first-choice target for the summer.
Galatasaray are also interested in signing former Barcelona and Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez on a free transfer in the summer as his contract with Marseille is set to expire too.
However if they are unable to get a deal done for the legendary Chilean, then they will make an attempt for Morelos.

This is going to be a really interesting summer window at Rangers and while nobody really seems to know what’s going on.
But one thing that seems sure is that Morelos is not going to be a part of the squad unless something dramatic happens and turns around.
Morelos is a super popular player at the club but the vast majority of people are in agreement that it seems as though the time is right now for him and Rangers to part ways for Beale to be able to put his own stamp on the squad.
Whether the player would be happy going to Turkey rather than an elite European league is another question, but ultimately that won’t be our problem.
It feels as though if we are willing to give him a new deal he’ll end up staying, and if we choose not to then he’ll leave. That seems to be the most likely outcome at this point, and Turkey could be the next destination.
