Zak Lovelace spotted in first Michael Beale training session as Rangers manager
Rangers starlet Zak Lovelace has been spotted with the first team as Michael Beale takes training at Auchenhowie for the first time.
The Gers signed the striker in the summer from Championship side Millwall, beating a host of English clubs to the 16-year-old’s signature.
Lovelace has only featured for 14 minutes of first-team action so far with the forward impressing in the Gers’ B team this season.
However, the 16-year-old has since been spotted training with Beale’s first team after the club released photos (29 November) of the 42-year-old’s first session in charge.
Promising
This is already a promising sign from the new Rangers boss, with Lovelace one of the Gers’ most gifted young players. He’s been prolific for the B team with 11 goals and eight assists in all competitions. With Alfredo Morelos’ poor form, Lovelace certainly deserves to be in the conversation when it comes to first-team chances.

The more men’s football the better for the 16-year-old. Hopefully, Beale will be looking to integrate the striker into his plans for cup games in the near future.
Furthermore, this hopefully provides insight into how Beale is going to operate as he takes the reigns at Ibrox. Rangers have a number of young players who are pushing to be involved in the first eleven.
Alex Lowry has been outstanding whenever he has put on a Rangers jersey and could well thrive under the new boss. The 19-year-old was starved of first-team chances under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and he will be looking to kickstart his season now there’s a new lease of life at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, Ross Wilson is put on high alert as a “Magnificent” midfielder is now prepared to leave his club in the January transfer window amid Ibrox links.
