
Rangers youngster Connor Allan also signs new deal at Ibrox
18-year-old Connor Allan has signed a new contract with Rangers that will keep him at Ibrox until the summer of 2025, as revealed by The Daily Record.
B team defender Allan is a Scotland youth international, who has also featured for the Gers in their UEFA Youth League Campaign in the 2022/23 season.
Allan follows fellow youngster Adam Devine, who also penned a new contract on 9 October, which will keep him with the Gers until 2025.

Good news
It’s excellent to see the Gers get some of their younger players tied down to longer deals to prevent losing them for below their value to Premier League clubs in the future.
Rangers’ academy is vast and certainly churns out a high volume of players who are regularly loaned out to lesser sides in Scotland. However, the ones who do make it in the first team can gain plenty of attention from elsewhere.
Allan can operate in central defence and in defensive midfield and could be earmarked to form a long-term partnership with fellow 18-year-old Leon King, who has already impressed in the first team.

King’s contract should certainly be high on the agenda for Ross Wilson with the Rangers youngster’s current deal coming to a close in the summer of 2024. If the Gers let it enter its final year, then there is every chance that teams from the Premier League will be looking at King.
With these two extensions signed, it will be interesting to see where Rangers turn their attention next when it comes to contract extensions.
