Michael Stewart gets stuck into Ryan Kent after Rangers smashed v Celtic
Michael Stewart has destroyed Rangers winger Ryan Kent for his performance in the 4-0 Old Firm defeat against Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
The BBC pundit insisted the Bears dazzler has “nothing” in terms of his end product, and compared him to Liel Abada, despite the Englishman having more abilty.
The Celtic winger scored twice with few touches whereas Kent huffed and puffed all afternoon at Parkhead with no rewards for that in the end.
Speaking during live BBC coverage of the game, as shared on their live blog, Stewart did not hold back after what he saw from the winger at Parkhead.
“Ryan Kent has got a lot more technical ability than Liel Abada,” he said.
“But his end product is nothing in comparison to Abada. He’s a constant threat and he knows how to hurt the opposition.”

Nothing.
This was the main issue again.
Kent is our standout man, that is very clear but he was often left alone in that final third today.
Celtic had Matt O’Reilly, Abada and Jota all making runs and terrorising going forward, but Kent was often isolated with Malik Tillman non-existent and Antonio Colak only known for poaching.
If the winger doesn’t start finding the back of the net more often and setting up goals, then there is serious trouble on the horizon for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
We cannot have too much reliance on one man and this has to be used as an example of what has to change in the performance of those around him – he can’t do it all himself.
Kent doesn’t escape criticism though, he will know that and we have to get back on the horse, especially the next time we are at Parkhead, because this cannot keep happening.
