Rangers: TalkSPORT pundit wants Ryan Kent at Tottenham Hotspur
Ryan Kent has been among the highest performers for Rangers over the last few years and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara is in awe of him.
The 25-year-old was on top form again for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side as they were held to a 2-2 draw by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Englishman didn’t get on the scoresheet with the goals scored by Antonio Colak and Tom Lawrence but he still shone brightly at Ibrox as he has done for the majority of his appearance in the famous royal blue.
O’Hara is a huge admirer of his and even suggested that he would love to see Kent make the big move to the Premier League soon, preferably to his beloved Tottenham Hotspur.
“I don’t want to pull him away from Rangers but I really like him, what a player he is,” O’Hara said. “I would have him at Spurs. He should be in the Premier League, he is a top player.”

If a Premier League team wanted to sign Kent then they should have made an approach much earlier in the transfer window while they had the chance.
Rangers would surely not allow a player that carries so much importance to the way they play leave this late into the summer window to heap pressure on them to find a replacement at the last minute.
Rabbi Matondo has already been signed to play out wide for the Bears this summer and the last thing van Bronckhorst wants to be worrying about is going to find another wide man.
Kent would probably like to test his mettle in the Premier League as most players do and if a Champions League side makes an approach, you wouldn’t begrudge him for going but he can’t leave to go and play for a mid-table side.
He is too good for that and deserves to be playing continental football every single week just like he is in Scotland right now.
