Rangers look to finish off pre-season strongly against Spurs
Rangers will look to finish their pre-season strongly with a tough game against Tottenham in a friendly at Ibrox on 23 July.
The Gers will take on the North London club as they conclude their pre-season welcoming the Champions League outfit to Ibrox for a 3pm kick-off.
The club have won two of their pre-season games, an impressive 3-1 win against West Ham, while they have also swept Blackpool aside and lost to Sunderland earlier in the month.
End preseason strongly?
With the Scottish season starting on the 30th of July, this will be the final time Giovanni van Bronckhorst can make any final preparation before the season starts.
It could give the Dutch manager a chance to experiment with new formations or take a closer look at some players that could be in line for big seasons this year.
In addition to this, it could give the fans a chance to take another look at some new signings, and envision how they could fit into the team before the season starts.
The likes of Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo have both been introduced to the Iborx faithful, and both will be looking to continue their good start to life in Scotland after the duo both got on the scoresheet against West Ham.
Also John Souttar and striker, Antonio Colak also made their debuts for the club and will both be looking to make an impression against the North London club on 23 July.
There could be a debut on the cards, as new signing Ben Davies could feature in the pre-season finale, as well as captain James Tavernier who is reportedly close to signing a new deal with the club.
In other Rangers news, the club have offered Turkish international Ridvan Yilmaz a five-year deal.
